經典競速遊戲《gti汽車俱樂部：世界城市競速》於2010年春登陸wii平台。本作曾經是街機上的火熱系列，玩家可以在比賽中欣賞到法國、英國、意大利、美國和日本各地的城市景觀。wii平台的本作將為玩家提供平衡、舒適、真實的控制系統，使用戶可以熟練的漂移，在大街小巷中呼嘯競速。
除了來自街機版的12輛車型外，本作還將增加四個品牌的車系。均針對車型製作了不同的物理操控係數。
本作還有兩個單人模式：街機模式提供了和街機一致的比賽體驗；而新的探索模式則是以世界巡迴賽為目標。多人模式也包含在遊戲內，可以四人分屏對戰，也可以通過任天堂wi-fi連接。遊戲還具有豐富的定制功能，玩家可以按照自己的喜好來定義汽車。
